Home care services provide a range of services that help old people live independently within their homes. - Level 4: High-level care – For high-level or complex care needs, that can include daily visits.
The Australian government has introduced an increase of the Home Care packages to 185597 packages in 2020-2021 with a total investment of 1.9 billion dollars. The government subsidises a range of aged care homes in Australia. The subsidies are paid directly to you. Depending on the level of services, you can earn up to $52000 approximately per person per year. The details are listed below:
- CHSP services delivered to a client should be lower than the subsidised cost of a Level 1 HCP (less than $8,000 per year).
- Home Care Package (HCP): approximately $9,000, $15,750, $34,250, and $52,000 a year for Level 1, 2, 3 and 4, respectively.
